Literature Text
it's something a
little more than
yearning: not
quite lust, but
filled with just
as much desire
etched into my
skin, deep in
my veins, struck
through my
feeble little
muscles, right
down to the
skeleton
a craving from
the bones, a
hunger that eats
itself up and churns
itself back out
i'm cold and brittle,
feeling the ache for your
warm fingers to wrap
around the dusty
bones of my wrists, your
hands to stretch through
and out of my eye
sockets
little crevices
and holes that
hide in my anatomy
now feel gaping wide;
as vulnerable
as the earth to
the sky:
engulfed in cold
absence, open to
the threat of the
asteroids that come
shooting out of
your mouth
craters
are
scars
on
a
bigger
scale
lightyears are
merely centimetres
when you drift
close and the
proximity is simply
too much to bear
i'm finding it hard to breathe
how can you
be afraid of
something that
you exist
entirely for?
Literature
Always
Alone upon the hill,
you stand.
Winters hand,
grips your limbs,
cold wind ripping,
at your core.
Just a shadow of yourself,
stands before the world.
But fear not,
soon winters hold,
will be burnt sunder.
Once more the light,
will fill your core.
Once more you shall bloom,
once more the beauty,
in you shall shine.
and know this,
alone you shall never stand,
for no matter were,
no matter what.
Be it light,
be it dark.
You shall always,
have a freind,
in me

In the Syllable
...then there is a way in diswaiting.
Dust some yellow sand covers,
here uncover bare bedding.
...suffusing red planes, blushed dunes,
under incidentally quilted blanket
wet as arid curves, as sounds.
...in a persistent pavement,
in a solemn unsuited promise,
some written words erase
some letters drip and soak
unto a perfuse miracle,
a dislocated split,
a letting go of...

Untitled
Once upon a time
I reached for the stars
And tried to climb
The sun's golden bars
But those rays of light
Cut short my flight
I reached for the stars
And fell from the sky
My hopes now scars
I can't justify
To myself alone
I am she who has flown
I tried to climb
Like Icarus the son
Melted wax come noontime
With nothing won
No promises made
No trophies gained
The sun's golden bars
Whose sentinels maintained
The ghosts of Mars
Those who remain
Close to my heart
Forever apart
The rays of light
Have faded away
The moon now night
Where the world decays
And I'm still fading
The sun never staying
Cut short my flight
Left behind it all
I try to
